The Greatest News
There is nothing greater I can say on this Resurrection Sunday, known by many as Easter, than what the bible has already recorded as fact. All scriptures are from the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). I pray you focus on this as you go about your day. Be blessed!
"Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be the sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:11-12
"Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
See, the virgin will become pregnant
and give birth to a son,
and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.” Matthew 1:22-23
"The boy grew up and became strong, filled with wisdom, and God's grace was on him."...."And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people." Luke 2:40, 52
"From noon until three in the afternoon, darkness came over the whole land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Elí, Elí, lemá sabachtháni?” that is, 'My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?'” Matthew 45-46
"But Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up his spirit. Suddenly, the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, and the rocks were split. The tombs were also opened and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. And they came out of the tombs after his resurrection, entered the holy city, and appeared to many. When the centurion and those with him, who were keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were terrified and said, 'Truly this man was the Son of God!'” Matthew 27:50-54
"After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb"...."The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” Matthew 28:1, 5-7
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God presented him as the mercy seat by his blood, through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his restraint God passed over the sins previously committed. God presented him to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so that he would be just and justify the one who has faith in Jesus." Romans 3:23-26
"Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book".... “Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me to repay each person according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end"..."Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates." Revelation 22:7, 14
